About

Saint Marys Hospital is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 100 Jefferson Square in Waterbury, Connecticut. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Saint Marys Hospital. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Saint Marys Hospital.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Saint Marys Hospital, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged Adult women, Seniors or older adults, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Saint Marys Hospital have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Saint Marys Hospital. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Saint Marys Hospital can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Saint Marys Hospital by visiting www.stmh.org now.

I can only imagine being trapped in a concrete prison surrounded by brick, mirror, and trash. To be locked up just down the street from the police station must be the only comfort.

Best hospital in Waterbury hands down. They get busy in ER just like any hospital. They triage very well. The nurses I have had were almost all excellent. As good as Yale New Haven Hospital. So glad they teamed up!

I recently had a surgical procedure here and I have to say I was a bit concerned based on the reviews and I'm used to having my procedures at Danbury Hospital. However, I was completely won over.... my experience from start to finish was awesome... they were so organized and the staff was absolutely amazing... so caring, warm and friendly. I highly recommend this hospital!

My grandson is currently being treated in the critical care coronary unit. He is being superbly treated by everyone, the doctors, nurses, ancillary help, cleaning persons, etc. Everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel special and worthy. I was always a Waterbury Hospital person but no more. ST. Mary's is the hospital to come to for state of the art, working equipment and a staff who focuses solely on the patient and the patient needs.

On our first visit, at the urging of our on call pedi, we brought my 9 month old daughter in with a fever or 105. Scary. She was seen quickly, however the doc only did a quick look over...over her clothes, and sent us right home. Not impressed, brought her in to her pedi the next day to be throughly checked out. On our second visit, we waited hours to be seen, and are currently awaiting xray results. Baby got a through exam this time without having to urge doc. No complaints. Yale certainly provides better and more in depth care, but for things that aren't too serious or complex I would return here due to distance and convenience.

I was looking at an apartment. Had to pay for parking if you aren't a resident. Apartment looked nice though.

The nurses and all the staff at St. Mary's Hospital gave the best care possible to my father when he passed away there in August 2016, as well as caring for his family over those two days. My dad was born at St, Mary's and died there too, sincere thanks for your professional skills and kindness.
